Overview
“118 ft of Freedom” is a kitesurfing documentary film set in the waters of Madagascar. In a male-dominated kitesurfing world, the film was produced with the goal of “exploring the best waves with an all-female team.” The title “118 ft” comes from the length of the massive wooden schooner (Luna Moon) they chartered as their base camp to live and explore the uncharted ocean.
