Overview
Born in 1988, Tom Court is a professional kite surfer, freerider, and video creator from Freshwater on the Isle of Wight, UK. Having started kiteboarding in 2000, he is known as one of the industry’s leading influencers, making significant contributions not only in the competitive scene but also through his video production (such as his YouTube channel “Court In The Act”) and the popularization of freeriding.
Career
He made his mark domestically in the UK from his junior years, winning both the British Junior Champion and British Pro Champion titles. On the world tour, he achieved a top 10 world ranking. He then expanded his activities beyond competitions to freeride and wakestyle, finishing 6th on the KPL (Kite Park League) Wakestyle World Tour and taking 3rd place at the Triple S Invitational, an event he competed in for 10 years. He has also competed twice in the Red Bull King of the Air in Cape Town. In recent years, he has focused on promoting eFoil, serving as a founding member of the eFoil Racing League.

Although initially forbidden by his father due to the danger, he was hooked the moment he first held the bar. He maintains deep friendships with pro riders worldwide, having launched the “Free Ride Project” alongside fellow British riders like Sam Light and James Boulding. He has also featured the riding of Aaron Hadlow and others in his video works.
