History and Philosophy
Born in 2018 when the Boards & More group, which previously dominated the market under the “North Kiteboarding” name, ended its licensing agreement. The new brand name stems from a snowboard brand the company operated in the 1990s. While inheriting the original development staff and equipment DNA, breaking free from licensing constraints allowed them to establish a unique identity and pursue freer, more creative product development.

DUOTONE offers a meticulously crafted lineup for every riding style. Kites include the “Rebel” for big air, the “Dice” for superior looping, the wave-specific “Neo” (passed down from Ken Winner to Sky Solbach), the versatile “Evo,” and the freestyle staple “Vegas”. The board range features the iconic “Jaime” twin tip, directional wave boards like the “Wam” and “Whip,” and the “Volt D/LAB” which delivers explosive performance in small waves.
Technical Features
The brand constantly pursues material and structural innovations, pushing the boundaries with “SLS” technology and the ultra-high-performance “D/LAB” series. Additionally, the eco-friendly “Concept Blue” project utilizes undyed fabrics to reduce water consumption and natural flax and basalt fibers instead of traditional fiberglass, perfectly blending environmental protection with top-tier performance.
